"how much can cy notice about u" the question post
So Cypress is meant to be especially perceptive in her original game. She's human! She doesn't have special powers! Nadeko is constantly fucking my dice rolls! But she has +2 sharp and spent her life learning how to do this shit!!!
So anyway it would help me a lot-- if not in tags themselves-- if people would be willing to just give me a list of things Cypress can reasonably notice and/or assume from them just by looking/talking with them.
Things like:
1. General areas they may have grown up in (or the closest Earth-equivalent of it) based on slang/accent/etc
2. Familial relationship (e.g. Persephone being Amaranth's child; this sort of connection is generally only made when she meets the other half of the equation and she usually can't tell "child" vs "younger sibling/cousin/etc")
3. Generalized type of work/hobby based on physical attributes (e.g. Calloused/dark hands or nails?? some sort of physical work, maybe gardening. Short nails and calloused fingertips? maybe a string musician. that sort of thing)
3a. Scars also fall under the above but only in the case of bites/scratches by wild animals or monsters, or gunshot wounds. Anything else would be too generalized for her to tell.
4. General emotional state that can be sussed out by someone actually paying attention to posture/facial features/etc
5. Most importantly: status as a human. Inhuman people or otherwise traditional "monsters" in human form would be a particular point of interest! If your character is notably inhuman or can be assumed to be/partially be so with a bit of careful study this is definitely something she'd keep track of.
rule of fun trumps all and she doesn't have special powers or anything, she just pays attention to visual details. if you don't wanna play with that at all let me know /o/

2. Both he and pianoslut on Wild City have enough shared features to come to the conclusion they're related in some way if you squint. It's mostly the eyes.
3. Callused hands that match up with the fact that he goes out on motorcycle rides fairly often. He doesn't have any scars however.
4. He's almost always moving, so it can be inferred that he's the type with a lot of energy who finds it hard to sit still.
5. He doesn't have any corruptions, but his eyes are gold and catlike in a way that isn't typical for humans of his world if she would find that notable.

re: kansai she unfortunately doesn't speak any japanese/is a fool american so via memory/game magic translations it's probably safe to assume by what she intuitively knows it'd just be like
1. probably japanese
2. kind of rough but otherwise unfamiliar

physically it’s probably pretty hard to tell much about her since she doesn’t have limbs and isn’t used to her current prosthetics!! the way she moves is super stiff and kind of unnatural because of it. Cypress might be observant enough to tell that she’s sometimes overplaying how uncoordinated she still is, but that’s not a constant thing so hopefully I remember to mention it in threads. hopefully I also remember to mention scars if those come up
also she usually isn’t wearing pants or underwear
unless I state otherwise in a tag ALL of her smiles and laughs are fake, and it is not even slightly hard to tell. her laugh is totally stilted and her eyes are never smiling. she isn’t even remotely trying to convince anyone she’s being genuine.
in spite of everything she is honestly human but who knows if Cypress would think so from looking at her
ALSO SHE AND CHALLAH ARE SISTERS

Also i never thought that her perceptiveness might let her notice if someone's going commando but i guess now that's something i have to consider. thanks.

1. General areas they may have grown up in - GOOD LUCK etheria isn't earth-like at all.
2. Familial relationship - none if you're talking physical attribute based, but if somehow SW shows up she can observe whatever she wants of that whole... dynamic. Thing.
3. Generalized type of work/hobby based on physical attributes - "cat"
3a. I think she's actually still got her scar from the last Betrayal where a vampire ripped her throat out? The rest are just like stabs and stuff, though.
4. General emotional state that can be sussed out by someone actually paying attention to posture/facial features/etc - YOU KNOW generally fronting as a Teenager With Attitude Who Definitely Doesn't Care or possibly A Badass Villain You Should Take Seriously, depending.
5. Most importantly: status as a human. - Nope, is a cat.

Shrike is kind of Obviously Weird insofar as she is too pale, blushes the wrong color, and has red eyes and white hair and a body temperature that's lower than normal.
She and Persephone aren't related, but with the white hair and the fact that they both run a little cold and are from the same world, it might be possible to infer that there is Something Similar going on there.
Apart from that she's very polite and has the sort of manner of someone raised in some kind of upper-class society. She also has the hands of someone who's done a lot of hard work, specifically swordsmanship. She has a lot of scars but they are largely sword scars.
When she's particularly uncomfortable, she stands very, very still—she's actually more comfortable with someone if she's fidgeting around them. When she's having a very bad time, she gets very calm and serene, and stops inserting hedge words into her phrasing.
no subject
Obviously not human, especially now that she got jellyfishified via corruptions, but the funniest part of that is that she has no special powers even outside of Imeeji. She's pretty much at the level of your baseline human; she's just really persuasive and very smart.
She is someone who is used to other people listening to her, and carries herself with the casual grace of someone who expects to be treated as an authority. She's most genuine when she's laughing.
She definitely grew up in a culture that is not an Earth culture, and has a number of mannerisms it's possible to pick up on. She does, however, speak perfect English, although she's still picking up modern slang since last she checked it was the 1890s.

2. Familial relationship - none
3. Generalized type of work/hobby based on physical attributes - she's rough and grubby! Very hands on, she'd have shortened fingernails, back home she worked with oils/gears/machinery. Also see above re street kid.
3a. Scars - nothing notable
4. General emotional state - what you see is what you get! She generally wears her heart on her sleeve, her swagger and enthusiasm (for herself or others) are genuine, etc.
5. Most importantly: status as a human. -- 100% human.

2. No family in Tokyo-F.
3. Woodworking and metal working probably have left some callouses. He also spars a lot, two-handed. He's super active, and it shows; his build indicates someone who does parkour and gymnastics.
3a. His gait is a little lopsided from the fake leg, because it's so heavy. When he has shorts on, the scar tissue on his thigh is extremely noticeable. Most of the rest of his scars are not terribly visible given what he tends to wear, but it is notable that he ALWAYS has on long sleeves or gloves that cover his forearms.
4. He is always more tired than he lets on, as he doesn't really sleep if he can help it. If things in Imeeji have been bad lately, chances are he is also pretending to be more upbeat than he really is.
5. Human! But he is missing his heart as a corruption, so he is too pale, too cold, and does not have a heartbeat.

2. No family in Tokyo-F.
3. He fights with a spear and has started to attempt gardening recently. Possibly a pencil callous, because he is a dork that likes doing number puzzles.
3a. There are so many of them. So many. Some of them are from monsters. The others are mostly from shrapnel.
4. He is wary and watchful as a default, unless he is with someone he trusts. When he feels threatened, he fronts like crazy. It is a conscious change of his body language and how he presents himself to make the person back the fuck off. When he is having an emotion he does not want to broadcast, he tries to shut down whatever his facial expressions are doing altogether, and/or turn his head so that his hair hides his face.
5. Human! But his eyes shine in the dark like a cat's, thanks to his corruption. He also smells like honey. Hm. :|a

By Earth cultural standards, he speaks and presents in a feminine manner. Generally overall he would refer to himself primarily as a youth, maybe boy if pressed, never as a man and not really very often as male, and tends not to use gendered terms for himself. Other people, like Amaranth, Lucifel, etc, do, like 'son, brother, etc.'
2) Obviously Persephone and Amaranth. He and Lucifel have the fraternal twins thing going on: the best way to describe it, tbh, is that Persephone is the waif-y pale, androgynous fanart version. the delicate beautiful twin. (...they probably resemble each other most when Lucifel is being a girl).
Carly also already covered the Persephone + Shrike resemblances (way too pale, runs cold, from same world).
3) absolutely carries himself like a dancer, so much grace here. like "human peak" kind of grace. (he has calluses on his fingers: both from playing instruments and from swordwork/knifeplay, though I imagine the first is probably the More Obvious Conclusion given how he carries/presents himself otherwise).
4) blank serenity at like, all times. constant whispery alto voice. his equivalent of raising his voice - which almost never happens - is approaching a normal speaking range.
5) runs cold, living normal animals are scared of him/avoid being around him. it's kind of complicated here because Exalts are human+ (demigods? how do you count them) but Abyssals are also questionably undead: still living but perpetually on that precipice between life and death.
no subject
she's american anyway, so she's not 100% on non-american dialects to begin with.
and re: 5 "living and human-like but still vaguely Off" is definitely a thing of note. she wouldn't immediately assume nonhuman but she would probably at least be suspect
no subject
5) yeah, I can definitely see how it would be. also probably clouding it is the fact that he's still breathing. still needs to breathe and can eat normal food.
no subject
Even when she's being Particularly Yorkshire, she's very melodic and pleasant to listen to. There's a natural beauty to her voice!
2. NOPE
3. Her human form is fluffy as fuck but beneath that she's still built for Elegance and Power. No scars or calluses! Her fingernails are kinda claw-like, and, like the rest of her, kept very well-groomed. They're often painted!
4. Dog-cat. Cat-dog?? One or the other. She's a very honest, emotive person and what you see tends to be what you get. On the rare occasion she is trying to BS someone, her fluffy "ears" tend to give her away.
5. Not human! Slit pupils; runs very warm; pointed elf-like real ears and the additional set of fluffy not!ears; claws; ridiculously thick & fluffy iridescent hair, etc etc. While she's good at imitating human body language and behaviors, there's are still sometimes tells that she's ... basically a Giant Apex Predator Cat In Disguise. Also, she smells like s'mores mocha with background notes of campfire smoke.
Final note! idk if Cypress could (or would even care to) note this, but for completion's sake: she's intersex

2. No blood relations, but she and Ruby Sour have a very easy to observe daughter-mother dynamic, and Man☆Eater is referred to as her elder brother. There's also a ring - white jade inlaid with red jade - on her left ring finger at all times, corresponding to a gold ring on Lucifel's finger, and they behave pretty married.
3. Calluses that line up with writing and cooking, short nails from playing and tending to a pipe organ. There might be dirt or plant matter beneath them occasionally from working in the sun room, but there's not much else to speak of; she doesn't seem to have ever done much work at all before coming here. Not quite Abyssal pale but still on the pasty side, at the absolute worst just sort of kind of meeting the bare minimum requirement for appearing alive but her color is usually better than that these days.
3a. There is a scar on her throat from having it slit, and a scar on her chest from being stabbed, but no others.
4. I touched on it a little in 1 but she's always putting forth active effort to speak the way that she does and behave the way that she does; it isn't exactly an affectation, like, she's generally in a good mood and thinks well of everyone, it's by and large sincere but she does try hard to project it too, typically smiling or comfortably neutral, and generally polite. If she gets excited, it'll be apparent; positive emotions are always worn earnestly on her sleeve. So, negative states:
- When she's upset, before it shows on her face in a traditional way she always tends to smile with her eyes shut. She often pulls at her hands or plays with her clothes.
- When she's angry or otherwise keyed up to a point of slipping up with her speech this also happens, it's especially apparent because she will start talking and talking and repeating herself and you have seen the cronch. She doesn't tend to raise her voice.
- She laughs rarely; this doesn't happen much but if it's a typed laugh (like "ahaha") vs a laugh being referred to in brackets (like "she chuckles") it's usually forced out of discomfort.
5. She isn't inhuman in a way that would be picked up on with normal observation BUT she's very upfront about not thinking of herself as one as you know so like, however that evens out. No corruptions.

2.) One of her significant others from home is in Imeeji, but you wouldn't readily be able to know that obviously. BUT- her daughter, Ren (Nova) on Pep is in game. She looks A LOT like Kaguya. Except she's a little taller and has white hair and violet eyes. Her facial structure is very similar to Kaguya, but she looks much more similar to her father, Zero, who is also on Taisho. She has short hair like her father, too.
3.) Her skin and perplexion is flawless. She is a vampire so back home she hasn't really had to worry about injuries or calluses, etc etc. She DOES practice the cello here though and practices her weaponry so she's probably been forming some. She's very petite and more agile and quick than outwardly strong, but she's stronger than she looks. No scars though! She buys those off because of vampire vanity. She's taken to doing parkour in Imeeji, but lately, her health has been bad though due to acquiring Anime disease since a game.
4.) Her emotional state fluctuates a lot due to vampire angst but also being a sparklpire. Either way, her emotions are super easy to read though most of the time.
5.) She is a vampire...! But she has so many corruptions these days that people probably can't really tell what's corruption vs what's vampire I suppose. Anyway, here's her corruptions.

2.) He doesn't have any blood relatives in Imeeji. But you could maybe assume that Hiryuu and Kija are similar due to their corruptions? Both have similar horns and both have scales. It's just that he's white and she's red. They also both have dragon-slitted eyes as well. They don't look alike outside of their corruptions though.
3.) He's kind of a soft boy. He never had to do a day of work in his life back in his village, probably... though he climbed trees as a kid?? He also knows how to fight and has been actively training and practicing here. He does have some large scarring across his back but that's not going to be generally noticeable. It's the only scars he doesn't get rid of. Anyway, he works out but he's a skinny boy.
4.) He's an open book. He tends to be serious or a flustered fight boy who blushes a lot.
5.) He's human but he has dragon blood inside him. So he was born with dragon fangs and a scaled white dragon claw for his right hand. It's bigger than his left. But since he has so many corruptions, unsure how helpful this is in the end.

2. NA on family, so very new to Tokyo-F, but he's already attached to Pep.
3. Fighter, looks like he wields broadswords or two swords based on his hand calluses and muscles
3a. The obvious ones are the ones on his face and the big one on his torso, they're from bladed weapons. A couple of smaller ones too, from blades, some animal/monster scars
4. Legit easygoing, likes talking to people. Trying to stay chill in the face of weird stuff or things that make him uncomfortable.
5. Very human!

1. As Mischa said, Amaranth and Persephone's home province is inspired by Sengoku-era Japan, which is why you see all sorts of Japanese names for things in their "canon." However, the language they're actually speaking is a dialect of one called Riverspeak.
The way I've chosen to represent this is that all her Japanese is basically metaphorical. She won't ever recognize the meaning of any words of Real Non-Metaphorical Japanese; for example, she is totally unaware of what "Kohime" means, and that lack of recognition is something Cypress could notice.
Amaranth does, however, pronounce Japanese names like a native speaker, and will default to pronouncing nonsense words like a Japanese person might (e.g. LiliS as "(l/r)i(l/r)isu"). Otherwise, the universal translation smooths out any sort of accent.
2. Amaranth looks extremely similar to her son(s), to the point that they could almost be gender-swapped versions of one another, if her hair were white. Persephone in particular has a little extra ~something~ that makes him the Most Beautiful of the family, though.
Cypress may also see echos of Amaranth's protective demeanor in the way she relates to her collection of unofficial adoptive children, so let me know if you'd like me to detail the list of "people Amaranth visibly acts like a mom around."
3. Amaranth has hands callused from wielding staff-type weapons, and the lithe but densely muscled build of someone who has pushed her frame to the absolute limits of its strength, or perhaps a bit beyond. She's also an intensely fastidious person, so almost always clean unless she's very fresh from training, etc.
You can find her list of scars here. Cypress may well have seen them all, since Amaranth doesn't try to conceal them from LiliS. Though only the very top of the slashing scar across her chest is visible while she's, you know, clothed, the supernatural gold sheen is probably something that would particularly catch Cypress's eye.
4. At all times and in all situations, Amaranth believes herself to be the most dangerous person in a room when it comes to a physical fight, and she by default carries herself with that kind of easy confidence that comes from being 0% afraid of anyone.
When things become more tense, though, her posture changes to upright and deliberate; this is when her uncompromising conviction comes to the fore.
In contrast, she puts in extra effort to be gentle and thoughtful around her LiliS children in particular, doing her best to soften her many hard edges.
It's also worth noting that Creation has approximately reversed gender roles. (There is complete sexual equality, but gendered assumptions persist, not unlike the state of things in, you know, modern Earth.) Edelweiss and Cypress being her most battle-ready "children" while Ayumu acts as a homemaker completely checks out with her assumptions.
I'm not sure if Cypress can pick up on this or not, but: occasionally Amaranth will say or do something that seems to dismiss male competence or authority—and that's not her being "woke," that's her being her world's equivalent of lowkey sexist.
5. She's human!
Amaranth doesn't consider herself mortal, but she rejects the idea that this means she isn't human.
Also I guess this is a good time to drop in a reminder that she literally looks 20 years old; any extra appearance of maturity is all in how she carries and conducts herself.
no subject
actually she wouldn't because she's a white girl from minnesota who only watches dubbed anime and lives in a cult

anyway—
for Hellfire:
1. She's Japanese!
Mostly she talks and acts like she's from the modern era, but she'll revert to a very old fashioned kind of formality when she's trying to be polite, and more rarely in circumstances where she's thrown off enough by things to default to her original idea of language and conduct. She's literally over 500 years old, but also she only became a person like a year ago, so it balances out.
2. She has zero blood relations of any kind. /jazzhands
3. Probably the most surprising thing about Hellfire is that she is... not a trained fighter. Being a centuries-old sword just teaches you how to be a sword; it doesn't inherently bestow combat training.
Because she's so new to having a body at all, in the places where she doesn't have a bunch of supernatural scarring, Hellfire's skin is almost baby-soft and smooth, and she doesn't have much muscle tone.
That said, she's still a very high-energy person, and it's pretty common to see her scuffed with dirt from running around exploring.
4. As mentioned, Hellfire is by default very high-energy and enthusiastic—and almost puppyish in her eagerness to please. Beneath the surface of childlike joy and wonder, though, there are some things to note:
- She loves everyone and everything unconditionally. This is both a conscious choice on her behalf and what she intuitively feels to be Right. It doesn't come from naivety, but rather a personal Code.
- When talking about these matters, she becomes thoughtful and focused: these are feelings that she struggles to put into words, but that make her really want to put in the effort to be understood.
5. Very not human. She's a sword. In Imeeji, this is extra true, since her corruptions have blurred the distinction between her human shape and sword shape.
The appearance of her corruptions is in the notes on her profile, but here are some additional details since Cypress is extra-observant about the supernatural:
- The flame that shows through her cracks, and especially in sword form, is uncanny-feeling—something fundamentally alien to the world.
- So, I mention that Hellfire has "falling stars" in her eyes. The complete picture is that, if you try to look too closely at Hellfire's eyes, instead it's like you can see through them entirely, out into the void of space.

2. None, but she'd notice by now Cardinal and Amaranth are together.
3. She's already seen them work a rifle and a sword. Cardinal keeps themself in peak shape and does all sorts of physical activities. She might pick up on the fact that they swim a lot by their shoulders.
3a. Two slashing cars on their chest, one right down the middle and one tilted crossbar. Both large enough to have killed them.
4. She won't get the sense they're hiding anything. In general they are relaxed and confident, and they emote easily. They have a tendency to move a lot because they have a lot of energy. If it comes up, they are VERY good at looking and speaking neutrally.
5. Cardinal won't ping as non-human but their looks are very eye-catching - just a little too 'perfect'. They also look younger (about 20) but carry themself as an older adult (their profile indicates they're 30).
other: They have a very androgynous build/features (most people assume they are female) but they don't have breasts.
I'M SORRY FOR TAKING SO LONG TO DO THIS
2. N/A
3. Plays piano, no scars, seems to have trouble using the left side of his body at times, generally the left side of his body is slower/less responsive.
4. fairly chill. sometimes he's vibrating. i will note when he does that
5. definitely a human
i'm sorry for taking so long to do this x2 also i'm sorry for what this has become.
If your character is notably inhuman or can be assumed to be/partially be so with a bit of careful study this is definitely something she'd keep track of.
because of game, i meant to get around to this sooner
2. N/A.
3. Based on hand callouses, some gardening and swordfighting. Plays a flute. The sort of posture that suggests a kind of polite etiquette was drilled into her.
4. A lot of nervous energy, and a kind of reflexive insecurity and desire to endear herself to others. Tends to push herself hard and end up exhausted. Tries hard to stay composed, but has a definite simmering anger beneath the surface.
5. Human, but has glowing tattoos all over her body, slitted, catlike pupils, both due to corruptions.

She grew up speaking Chinese and specifically the Hakka dialect, although she can also speak Mandarin; after that, she learned French and then English. She speaks all of these fluently, although there's enough of a trace of an accent that someone could pick it up. She's a little on the polite side but has picked up enough modern slang.
2. Familial relationship (e.g. Persephone being Amaranth's child; this sort of connection is generally only made when she meets the other half of the equation and she usually can't tell "child" vs "younger sibling/cousin/etc")
None yet but i'll update this if Degen ever apps Iris
3. Generalized type of work/hobby based on physical attributes (e.g. Calloused/dark hands or nails?? some sort of physical work, maybe gardening. Short nails and calloused fingertips? maybe a string musician. that sort of thing)
She's pretty strong for her size, and has the build of a martial artist.
3a. Scars also fall under the above but only in the case of bites/scratches by wild animals or monsters, or gunshot wounds. Anything else would be too generalized for her to tell.
Curiously, none.
4. General emotional state that can be sussed out by someone actually paying attention to posture/facial features/etc
She's an optimist, she usually defaults to assuming the best from people she meets, she's like the one character I play who doesn't have a fucking anxiety disorder
5. Most importantly: status as a human. Inhuman people or otherwise traditional "monsters" in human form would be a particular point of interest! If your character is notably inhuman or can be assumed to be/partially be so with a bit of careful study this is definitely something she'd keep track of.
She's a vampire. She's carefully worked to retain human mannerisms and has done a bunch of occult science to herself to reduce her environmental impact but she is in fact like, dead.

She also never eats or drinks unless specifically noted.
i can't believe i didn't get around to doing this before
2. He and Lucifel have a very very vague resemblance, but that's not really noticeable unless you look at both of them a lot. It's not even enough to consider that they might be related - simply that they happen to have some kind of similar features.
3. Short nails, not particularl heavy calluses but enough to indicate that he does quite a bit of cooking. LOTS of scars all over his body, enough that they're actually starting to make the patterns of his tattoos hard to make out around his shoulders and neck. There are quite a few obvious bite marks among them.
4. Always a little tense, even when he's trying to come across as bored or at ease. There's always a sense that he's holding back some feeling of anger or resentment.
5. He's got his dog ears and tail with mixed fur and feathers! And all his bodily fluids are black mud made of evil. Also, when he gets angrier or takes a more threatening attitude, his body language tends to get more animalistic - he'll crouch more, bare his teeth etc etc.

2. n/a
3. sword callouses 100%. she carries herself extremely deliberately and has high consciousness of her body as well as high control. she has sharp reflexes and very often moves without really thinking, but she doesn’t flinch much, if ever. also she’s constantly carrying two swords.
- 3a. bizarrely, no scars. she has very smooth skin.
4. (aside from when she’s in the avante dorms with just avante around,) Harpy actually tends to show shockingly little of her real emotional state clearly. almost all of her tells are on her face because her posture and movements are usually under such tight control; not unlike Shrike, she actually moves more when she’s relaxed. how could it be that two strictly parented/abused Asian kids in warrior families might have similarities,
her facial expressions are also often what she thinks is ‘correct’ for a situation rather than how she is really feeling, but she tends to lie to herself so hard that while they’ll come out a bit ‘off’ a lot it takes something pretty significant to shake her so bad they feel outright strained/forced. she’s actually usually feeling fairly detached so it’s not that hard to cover it up with a courtesy smile or politely feigned interest, but on the flip side the gap between her usual degree of muted expressiveness and like, how bright and animated she gets while feeling actual joy and not smothering it is pretty pronounced. in any case, her actual feelings are now on display in her eye rings corruption all the time, so rip
5. Harpy is completely human but now has the egret feathers and eye color mood ring corruptions

2. n/a, though if somehow she was able to check their necks she might notice that Nemesis and Hurricane have the same cross of pins beneath their hairline and the same QR-code-looking tattoo at the base of their necks, though usually hers is covered by her hair and clothing.
3. The nails on her right hand are cut or picked short, and while there's no specific marks, it is her only hand. The left is a metal prosthetic, scratched up and dented, but seems to be her dominant hand. The remains of her left arm are fairly scarred up to the shoulder, but generally hidden by her clothing. The prosthetic is closer in visual style to Griffin's than to Hurricane's leg.
4. Probably fronting as asshole relaxed--slouching, lazy, teasing or belligerent movements, but basically low-key tense all the time. It is unlikely Cypress would ever see Nemesis be truly relaxed because stranger-danger
5. No visible corruptions. 100 percent boring old human!

2. He... he looks so much like Vergil and Dante that it's impossible to NOT realize they're related. The fact that Nero and Vergil had no idea is really a testament to how stupid they are. He even has the same types of facial expressions and tone of voice sometimes. Genetics.
3. Left-handed. Obviously a fighter, muscles formed from practical use instead of sculpting, but a bit less callused than you might expect? Fighting comes naturally to him so he's done fewer drills than the average knight. Old scars predominantly from fighting demons, so scratches and bites and sword slashes, not so much in the way of gunshots. However, he has erased all lethal scars.
4. Usually pretty relaxed, casual. Never picked up manners or decorum, due to poor upbringing. Even when no one is looking, will do things in an unnecessarily SSStylish way (picking up objects by giving them a lil' flip in his hand, kicking up something off the floor and snatching it out of the air instead of just bending over to grab it, doing a little spin or sick landing just because, etc.) just for funsies. His corruptions give him a little blue glow when that happens, though it fades quickly.
5. His only non-human trait is his silver hair.

1. John has a suppressed Southern accent, only noticeable around vowels during excited states. Generally, he has scrubbed most of it off his inflections.
2. He is stupidly close bonded to Silver. You knew that. Silver does end up in LiliS sometimes.
3. Fly fishing, fishing, camping, engine work, dogs — Very worn hands, lots of odd knicks and rough spots. Nails are short and tidy.
3.a. He has gunshot wounds, but he is careful to hide his upper body with everyone since it's just carnage. Though, I will helpfully remind that he has a nice big ass scar on his cheek from taking a knife up to the hilt to the face.
4. I'm not sure how canon familiar you are, but he can do eye contact and will as needed. Often, he is more of the glance out the side of his eye at people, though. He is a people watcher, for sure. There is unease with physical contact from him, lots of aborted gestures and trepidatious touch when he does manage it. His motions are generally smooth but become jerky when excited, not knowing how to move because of different impulses firing. The big, big note is that he does tend to stare off and zone out a lot, like he tries to be discrete but it is definitely a thing in LiliS where he will come back to something with a delay because he's elsewhere and talking with projections. He is aware of everything going on around him and will show it, but he's clearly not present in some moments. This also shows up in specific conversations where he will switch between looking at who he is speaking to and who he is projecting-speaking with aka glancing into space somewhere adjacent to the former.
5. Human, human, human. He obviously has some mental disorder, but nothing that is too far off.

grew up a couple decades post-modern day in some poor fuck neighborhood in Greece, but also hung around the pretentious old-fashioned Athena-worshipping holy warriors crowd later in life (also in Greece). sometimes jumbles up an odd mix of some really aggro macho language and some super girly language
2. Familial relationship:
none rn but Moelle might bring in her half-brother for fourth wall
3. Generalized type of work/hobby based on physical attributes (e.g. Calloused/dark hands or nails?? some sort of physical work, maybe gardening. Short nails and calloused fingertips? maybe a string musician. that sort of thing):
it is definitely very obvious from build and from the state of the skin on her hands/knuckles that she punches shit a lot. her fingers usually stay at least a little curled because she's also used to gripping things very tightly
3a. Scars also fall under the above but only in the case of bites/scratches by wild animals or monsters, or gunshot wounds. Anything else would be too generalized for her to tell.
this is only kind of like scars, but she has a lot of old closed up piercing holes (multiples in each of the lip, eyebrow, both ears, one in the navel if it comes up)
4. General emotional state that can be sussed out by someone actually paying attention to posture/facial features/etc:
Reigo is generally anxious and in most interactions pretty desperate for approval. She hunches over a lot from a subconscious desire to appear smaller (both bc gender reasons and bc socially anxious abuse victim); she is capable of straightening up into a more rigid military posture but only does so under particular circumstances. On the flip side she's very secure in her physical strength and discipline and gives off a sort of devil-may-care, slack vibe to her gestures because of it. Her shoulders carry her tension pretty obviously (and climb up higher towards her ears the more tense she is), but in contrast her arm movements/gestures can get pretty big and imprecise. Her posture is a lot taller/more confident any time she's henshined. Usually leans closer to someone when her attention is on them, especially if they're someone she likes, which is almost everyone. Her body language isn't generally effeminate, but if she's more relaxed then some girlish and/or campy gestures might get thrown around.

2. Though she doesn't remember it, there is a similarity in the way she moves with Jason and Talon. Controlled, efficient, and able to climb and ninja around with ease and in silence.
3. There are so many scars. There are so many?? This is someone who fought people for a living, possibly killed, from the look of these oldass bullet wounds, knives, etc. The majority of them are definitely not from animals or accidents. Extremely callused from a lifetime of training as well.
4. Interestingly enough, she can probably tell that Hecate is 'reading' people the same way she is - though less about their history, and more about their current mental state and the flow of their movements. She is extremely in tune to motion, to the point of being able to sometimes predict what people will do.
Most of the time, Hecate prefers to keep her distance and watch all this from afar. Both because of her own difficulties in communicating, and her inexperience with interacting with people, understanding herself. She's trying to learn how to be. There's uncertainty and frustration and curiosity to her almost all the time - but she lights up with it comes to competition or physical activity. And she's incredibly touch-starved, hungry for her unit's positive validation.
When it comes to actually healing, it's like a switch is flipped. She's all determination, no hesitation or flinching from the grotesque. Hecate finds cruelty to be abjectly disgusting and is constantly holding herself back from getting into a fistfight with those responsible.
5. Definitely human, but at the upper limits of what a human body can physically train themselves to achieve.

1. fantasy China. Very little slang, he probably uses kind of old-fashioned phrasing/formal diction.
2. None. There's other connections that he doesn't remember yet (i.e., that Zhongli is his lord) but he doesn't remember so his behavior that she could observe hasn't updated yet.
3. He carries himself like someone who has a ton of combat training. Like, a ton. Like "2k years of it" kind of ton. Doesn't remember any of it, but it's there in how he moves. (if she looks at his profile name she can probably Figure It Out.)
4. Not very emotive, of the "naturally unexpressive and closed off". Has like two facial expressions and doesn't emote much.
5. Extremely inhuman. Like he's not a traditional monster at all, but he's definitely Not Human. (Specifically he's a Daoist immortal, but a White Girl from Minnesota probably has like no fucking idea re: that shit). He's a supernatural bird taking human form as a male youth.
He can eat but is put off by the texture of most food except like, almond tofu. His ration box, if she gets a look at that, is cubes of solidified moonlight and dew. No, I'm not fucking kidding, Chinese immortals apparently subsist on moonlight and dew.
