[ watches him for a moment before she seems to lose that confidence, burying her red face against him. ]

Pushes herself up onto her elbows, bright red. ]

[ - - shakes his head, smile a little apologetic. moves his hands to sign. ]

"Of course I enjoyed it."

I just wanted to ask.

[ ... well. Since she's already up here.

She leans in to press a kiss to the corner of his mouth, soft. ]

[ he'll kiss back, warm - - assuring, his hand moving back up to cup the back of her hair. ]

[ pleased, a warmth in her chest as she presses into his mouth. She doesn't linger too long, though, pulling back to lay her cheek on his chest. ]

[ makes a tiny bit of a face at the tentacle. why is he still here who invited him. she can't deny it's not convenient though. ]

her eyes abruptly get a little damp, lips tight, but she mostly manages to hide it before it gets too much by shifting instead to bury her face into the sheet, hiding under the crook of his arm. ]

[ at least this time he understands why she's crying

wraps his arm around her, pulling her close, kissing her forehead. ]

[ this is really emotional for her, okay.

her shoulders huddle a bit, but she does accept being held, taking a shuddering breath to stop herself from actually crying. It takes a minute, before she can finally respond, her voice shaky: ]

[ he can't text without his arms occupied but he can squeeze her tighter. love. ]

[ love.......... it takes her a bit but she does eventually wind her own arms around him, gently. ]

[ he's still somewhat sweaty but. Val is warm and he doesn't want to move. moving is for suckers. he nuzzles a bit against her, exhaling out, seeming to get quite comfortable in the position. ]

[ sweaty is the least of her concerns when she is also kind of sweaty, given.

She seems happy to cuddle for a while at least, though, a little too energized after all that to fall asleep straightaway... and it's too early besides. and she had a nap earlier...

she strokes along phel's spine, voice soft-- more or less just checking if he's awake. ]

[ he's not asleep, at least, eyes flicking open when she speaks to him. ]
