[ blinks at it, confused, but-- lets him go, for the moment, so she can put it in the kitchen.

and then heads to her room after him, brow knit as she closes the door behind her. ]

... Is something wrong?

[as soon as he walks in he falls onto her bed, face first, his legs hanging off the side

but he does turn his head enough to speak]

I think you both have good motives, but are both very stubborn, and very unwilling to think of the others' side.

... however, I don't think your plan was right. Even if it would work, it would still be wrong of you to do. But that's just my opinion.

I don't know. If I believed in such a thing as curses, I likely would have done much the same you would.

But it would still be terrible, even so.

It's more complicated than a curse if it affects the entire world.

Could you explain what you've seen happen, if the curse goes ignored?

... Are you quite certain it's real? I understand your world is vastly different than mine, but-- it seems quite strange that the health of the world would subsist on the misery of one tiny country.

It's the way of our world. We live in labyrinths, and we were destined to suffer, so why not...

I think... it is worth considering. That perhaps it was something told to you, to hurt you. And to make you continue doing terrible things as well.
